WELCOME LITTLE ONE by Paige Evans
Description: I loved the long "welcome to the world little one" phrase from the HELLO BABY digital brush set:
And it's been awhile since I did some major hand stitching, and I got a whole new rainbow of lovely threads... sooo... this is what I made!
Journaling says: You are my precious little angel and I'm so happy to be able to call you my daughter! You are a true treasure and a gift. You mean the world to me. I will always love you no matter what. I hope you grow big and strong and get to make cute babies of your own some day! Love you!
And it's been awhile since I did some major hand stitching, and I got a whole new rainbow of lovely threads... sooo... this is what I made!
How to: Replace the blade of a Silhouette Cameo with a pen holder (but use a pencil instead of a pen) and draw the phrase onto white cardstock. Poke a hole about every 1/4" all the way around the phrase then erase the pencil marks. Backstitch through every letter - I tried to do an ombre rainbow from left to right. Change the thread at every letter. After hand stitching, paint inside each letter with matching colored watercolors to help them stand out more. Add a trio of photos to make a visual triangle and minimally embellish around the photos. Journal across the bottom of the layout with a light gray pen.
Supplies: Digital elements: HELLO BABY by Ali Edwards; Cardstock, adhesive, pen: American Crafts; Stickers: Crate Paper; Chipboard, puffy hearts: Pink Paislee; Thread: DMC; Watercolors: Loew Cornell; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo
