Once again I've got a giveaway goin' on over on my instagram :) This time I've teamed up with scrapbook.com to offer one lucky lady (or gentleman!) a $100 gift card to go shopping for all things crafty! Here is the layout I made to share this giveaway news, using the gorgeous Shine collection by Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper, which they carry in the shop!
WHEREVER YOU GO, GO THERE WITH LOVE by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: I was browsing through my Silhouette library and came across this phrase created by Jenny Highsmith (Silhouette Design ID #93687):
It's been awhile since I've done a big hand stitched title and this one was begging to be stitched! So, this is where my inspiration for the layout began.
JOURNALING SAYS: I hope you will always have a love for traveling, adventures, and seeing new stuff!
HOW TO: Replace the blade of your Cameo with a pencil and draw the phrase onto "Dazzle" paper. Pierce holes all the way around the phrase then backstitch through using white thread (took me about 5 hours to do all the stitching. I love to multitask and stitched after the kids had gone to bed and Chris and I were watching shows). Fill in the phrase with a white wash of paint. Adhere a photo to the bottom right corner. Die cut the "love" word from "Cherish" paper and stick it on top. Then embellish the top left and bottom right sides with chipboard, die cuts, stickers, and more. Add a bit of journaling directly on the photo with a black pen.
SUPPLIES: Patterned paper, chipboard (flowers, globe, heart), die cut leaves, letter stickers, gold glitter "+": Shine by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo; Paint: FolkArt; Thread: DMC; Pen, adhesive: American Crafts
Good luck! I hope you win! Make sure you add scrapbook.com to your favorite stores list & keep a whether eye out for exciting things from me over there in the (hopefully near!) future!! :)
