I've been looking forward to creating a PaigeBook with Fancy Free and finally carved out the time to make it happen!
I started by picking the cover materials - I love wood and use it for nearly all of my books. Why change a good thing? :)
I used washi tape to divide the boards into 3 sections and then Chris helped me mix colors of acrylic paint to match the colors of Fancy Free. I think I'll keep him :)
While the paint was drying I trimmed down 1 of each of the 12 patterned papers in Fancy Free and 12 pieces of coordinating cardstock.
I chose plain white thread to bind the book together.

On the cover I mixed a die cut, tag, heart, and a couple of chipboard pieces, all from Fancy Free of course :)
What am I gonna use it for? Only time will tell! Haha! Or I might auction it off on my instagram.
I do have a bookbinding class and bookbinding kits in my etsy shop: BOOKBINDING CLASS & KITS. Also, I will have just 15 Fancy Free bookbinding kits next month, if you'd like to claim one now just send me an email :)
I can't believe I will finally know you! I will attend Scrap2Days, I couldn't miss the chance to meet you, I love everything you make!
ReplyDeleteI really hoped you will make a bookbinding class, but I think you are not... well, I will buy the class online :)
