It's "Snips & Snails" week on the Pink Paislee blog and here is the layout I made featuring the new Outfitters collection!
MEMORIES by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: My first thought was to punch a whole bunch of stars... and then what?! I threw them across the background, decided it reminded me of the night sky, and wanted to create a "constellation" look so I stitched them all together.
JOURNALING SAYS: Mrs. Dodsen was such a great and influential teacher for Fox! She loved what she did and the kids knew she loved working with them. She'll always be remembered!
HOW TO: Punch a bunch of little stars from paper #3 then adhere them across a light gray cardstock background. Connect the stars together with machine stitching then splatter white paint across the page. Layer a picture over a constellation photo overlay and two tags and embellish with a die cut title, puffy stickers, and cute canvas banner. Add colorful tiny heart stickers all around and create a cluster of embellishments on the top and bottom edges - journal at the bottom.
SUPPLIES: Cardstock, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Patterned paper, stickers, die cuts, canvas banner, tags, photo overlay: Pink Paislee; Star punches: Fiskars, Martha Stewart Crafts; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Paint: FolkArt
DETAIL SHOTS:
Have a lovely week!
