After walking around and enjoying the cute town of Assisi, we made our way to the hotel in Sant'Agata Feltria Sagra Del Tartufo for the start of the Scrap 2 Days weekend! Wow what a view!
First morning of the workshop! It also just so happened to be my 31st birthday :)
Getting right down to business! In the first class we made a layout.
Everyone was so happy to be there and loves scrapbooking - goodness I love this hobby!
Flóra Farkas came all the way from Slovenia - I met her at PaperWorld in Frankfurt earlier this year and we've kept in touch. So fun to see how she made the layout her own!
Done! Wow!
It was such a fun way to celebrate turning 31, nowhere else I'd rather be!
Meanwhile, Chris and the kids were on their own to explore. They drove down the hill from the hotel to the old town center of Sant'Agata Feralta.

Chris even got me flower detail shots. #hesakeeper
What a knocker!
While the kids liked walking around the town, what they really wanted was a pool. We had promised them our last hotel would have a pool and they were soooooo looking forward to it and literally counting down the days! But the construction got delayed so the hotel didn't have a pool. Nooooo! The kids were so distraught, I felt terrible. Luckily, Chris hopped on Google maps and amazingly enough found a super nice public pool about 20 minutes away. Success! All's well that ends well.
They also found a nice shady park with a playground. There was some outdoor exercise equipment nearby that Fox wanted to use to he could "get a big muscle." He kept flexing his bicep afterward when they were back at the hotel. It was hilarious.
Serena had a shop set up with all kinds of scrap supplies from her online store, Scrap It Easy. There's something about feeling and smelling all the things that you just can't get from online photos!
Oh how I miss working in a little local scrapbook store :)
After two layouts in the morning, I taught a mini album class in the evening.
We were eating dinner and chatting away when we looked outside and saw the most beautiful sunset. We all ran outside and started snapping away, it was pretty funny. We heart taking pictures, the whole lot of us :)
Soraya Maes was the other teacher - she is an absolute sweetheart and so amazingly talented. Since she's from France, I kept making her say "croissant." It's a thing.
Selfies in the sunset.
One more for good measure.
The next morning I taught one more mini album workshop. Here the ladies are dropping black mist onto their freshly painted and cut out by hand heart chipboard covers.

Thank you so much for the invitation to teach Serena!
Fox in the photobooth as we were heading out.
Thank you for a lovely weekend of scrapping, laughter, and fun at Scrap 2 Days!
Last stop of our Italian roadtrip, kind of (you'll see what I mean...) San Marino!
How fun! LOVING all the photos!! Sounds like a pretty amazing birthday! And look at all the people that joined the party! Lol! :)
