Hello and happy Friday! It's Oh My Heart week on the Pink Paislee blog and here is a layout I made featuring the stamp set:
DESCRIPTION: I don't consider myself a hard core stamper per se, so it was a fun challenge to try and use the Oh My Heart stamps in a way other than what they were originally made for (journaling and list-making!). And also, I didn't use a single piece of patterned paper on this page! Shocker!
JOURNALING SAYS: One of our favorite things to do together is build Legos! Oh and take silly selfies of course, cuz why not? Love being your mom!
HOW TO: Die cut a large ampersand from cardstock and place it on the left side of a white cardstock background. Stamp every image multiple times in all the colors over and around the page. Lightly trace the ampersand with a pencil, remove the ampersand, pierce a hole every few millimeters, then backstitch around it using white thread for texture and dimension. Add a photo, washi tape, die cuts, puffy stickers, mini alphabet stickers, and chipboard stickers to the left side then journal below. Add a bit of machine stitching to some of the stickers to finish.
SUPPLIES: Stamps, die cuts, washi tape, stickers (chipboard, mini alphabet, paper, puffy): Oh My Heart by Paige Evans / Pink Paislee; Cardstock, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Ink: Studio Calico; Ampersand cut file: Silhouette; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo 3; Floss: DMC
