Snuggle Buds Layout

I've been on a kick lately creating lots of pages for my favorite little guy - aka Fox! Today I wanted to share how to use the Oh My Heart collection to make a page for him. There's also a process video so be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to find it!
SNUGGLE BUDS by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: One of my favorite shapes to use when making pages for Fox is stars. Something about the angles and points is just so... awesome!
JOURNALING SAYS: I love that you love Rachel so much. Sometimes you can be a little too overbearing, but she's the worlds' sweetest kitty and takes it like a champ.
HOW TO: Paint three rows of gesso across the B-side of Paper 04. Use the packaging technique and watercolors to add color to the background. Die cut stars from white cardstock (I made the cut file which you can download for free here!) and also die cut some more stars from vellum. Punch a bunch of patterned paper stars in various sizes from Paper 10 and Paper 24. Punch confetti stars from the 6x6 Paper Pad. Arrange the stars across the three rows of paint (once the paint is dry!) then sew them in place with a line of machine stitching. Add three black & white photos on top. I love the contrast of colors with the b&w photos. Glue the confetti stars on top. Make a title with the mini b&w alphabet stickers in the Sticker Book then add a sentiment and heart sticker above. Finish by printing, trimming, and adhering journaling to the white space of the middle photo.
SUPPLIES: Patterned paper, stickers: Oh My Heart by Paige Evans / Pink PaisleeStars cut file: Paige Evans; Cardstock, vellum, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Star punches: Fiskars (medium), Martha Stewart Crafts (confetti); Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo 3; Gesso: Liquitex; Watercolors: Loew Cornell; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark
