Scrapbook Werkstatt and Jessica Fabiano have teamed up to create a colorful, vibrant, and tropical collection called Aloha! I was sent the line to play with and made three layouts in just a few hours - once I started I couldn't stop! Everything works together seamlessly, I only wish I had more to keep creating :) Here is one of the three layouts I made:
WOW SUMMER by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: This is proof that I do not scrap chronologically - this photo was taken way back in 2011 on our trip to Hawaii! This collection definitely calls for tropical photos so I went digging through until I found the perfect pic.
JOURNALING SAYS: Hawaii is just as amazing and magical as I always imagined it would be. And even better with you by my side!
HOW TO: Use a sewing machine to stitch lines 1" across horizontally and vertically over a patterned paper background. Fill in all the squares with little bits of stamping, die cuts, badges, and puffy stickers. Splash black watercolors on the right side. Punch a little scalloped border then stitch it to the top of a photo. Type, print, and trim journaling then adhere it under a die cut title on the white space of the photo; adhere the photo to the right side of the page. Trim a floral die cut in half and tuck one half under the right side of the photo.
SUPPLIES: Patterned paper, die cuts, puffy stickers, badges, stamps: Aloha by Scrapbook Werkstatt & Jessica Fabiano; Cardstock, adhesive: American Crafts; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Watercolors: Loew Cornell; Ink: StazOn; Font: Remington Noiseless; Border punch: Fiskars
