Prague Easter Market

The very last day of the Prague Easter Market 2017, our very last opportunity to ever see it while we still live here, we hopped in the car and drove over. Let Operation Painted Easter Egg Ornaments commence!
Instead of parking outside the city and riding the metro in like we've done in the past we drove straight into the heart of the city and found parking below a shopping mall.
Malls remind me of home :) I think the closest mall we live to is 45 minutes to an hour away.
Right outside the shopping center we encountered the first Easter market complete with petting zoo!
Powder Tower.
I love love love the architecture in Prague.
Easter market in the main square. Pastels galore!
Fox and Jane doing their thang.
Flowers were blooming, the sun was shining, it was a beautiful day.
Easter market details.
We found them! Hand painted Easter eggs!!!!
Oh how I wanted one of each! We got a good assortment to decorate for future Easters.

Then we got the most delicious trdelník we've ever had. So warm and gooey and cinnamon-y!
It only took four years to jump on the painted Easter egg ornament bandwagon, but I'm so glad we did because now we'll have these beautiful decorations for years to come and we'll always remember our day trip to Prague to collect them and the fun we had. And good news, only 3 have broken since, hahaha!! Hopefully we can find some friends who still live here to replace them next year :) :) :)
