Big Picture Classes - Paige's Pages 12

Paige's Pages 12 is now up at Big Picture Classes! I always have so much FUN creating these pages and trying new techniques! In the first lesson I am putting my Silhouette Cameo to work and die cutting 3D flowers – a search for “3d flowers Lori Whitlock” yields dozens of results so pick and choose your favorites and then go to town cutting paper flowers! 

I LOVE big titles! They are easy to make and you really can’t go wrong – I can pretty much guarantee it’ll turn out amazing! I taught how to make a variation of this layout in a workshop last year but with it’s simple-yet-eye-catching design I thought it would be fun to scraplift myself and film the process so you too can make a big title with a big impact!

I have been wanting to try this technique of splattering a WHOLE BUNCH of paint over a stencil for awhile and I’m so glad I gave it a try – now I’m hooked! I love all of the layers of colors and texture paint on paint on paint creates.


Thanks to fellow Big Picture Classes teacher Ashley Horton for the idea to incorporate embroidery into traditional scrapbooking pages! I have loved stitching on my layouts for the past couple of years but I’ve really only ever done a basic backstitch or straight stitch... until now!
