Family Adventures Layout

I'll be sharing my latest Big Picture Classes layouts over the next few weeks, starting with this one with a title that was made with washi tape as a mask!

There are a few different techniques on this layout and I mostly wanted to focus on the title. There's also watercoloring with the packaging technique, fussy cutting, the print & cut feature with a Silhouette Cameo, and hand stitching a floral template that I designed exclusively for Paige's Pages 13!
The start-to-finish process video can be found over in the class if you're interested to see exactly how this came together!
Supplies: Patterned paper, die cuts, stickers, washi tape: Oh My Heart by Paige Evans / Pink Paislee; Cardstock, adhesive: American Crafts; Floral stitching template: Paige Evans; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Embroidery floss: DMC

  2. Can you tell me what kind of sewing machine and needle you use for use on paper? I thought about getting a WRMK Sew Easy, but wondering if something else might be better. I've NEVER sewn, so need something easy and want it for paper crafting only. Thanks for your help. You are hands down, my favorite crafter!!!!

    1. Hi Teresa! I use a Brother LX2500 sewing machine. I picked it up at Walmart about 5 or 6 years ago and use it almost exclusively on paper!
