Artescrap Recap

When Diana first contacted me about teaching in Mexico City we were still living in Germany so I asked if we could wait a year until we moved back to the states - let the planning and excitement begin! This photo is from one of the pop-up shops at the event. Swoon right?!

There were almost 100 ladies who attended - by far the biggest group I've ever taught at one time! It was intimidating and thrilling at the same time. The girls were all so nice and welcoming, it really helped calm my nerves.
Diana picked me up at the airport and of course we had to take a selfie before we went and ate tacos!
The next morning was a hustle and bustle of setting up and getting the two-day event started!
I wasn't scheduled to co-teach until that evening so I had all day to mingle. I found a nice friend teaching how to make amazing mini albums and since I'm obsessed with mini albums I joined the club!
Here is the mini album I made. It was such a fun change of pace to be the student instead of the teacher ;)
Stunning cross stitched card. I want to make one!
Quite possibly the world's biggest mini album base lol!
That evening we checked out the room where I would be teaching. Wow!
I wore a microphone and a cameraman followed me around so my every move was projected up on the screen for all to see!
These sweet ladies came all the way from Costa Rica.
Felt floral headbands for everyone!
New sweet scrappy friends.

Biggest hugs to Diana for putting on this amazing event every year! It was so awesome to be apart of!

Group photo out in front of the hotel.

I hope to be back again to teach at Artescrap! It was a real treat!
