Superhero Layout by Stefanie Ried

Stars are such a universal shape! Like circles and hexagons, they can be used pretty much anywhere, anytime. I asked the designers sharing projects this week to feature this shape - there are a LOT of them throughout Turn the Page!
Stars are one of my favorite motifs! When I saw that this week the subject is stars, I immediately thought of a layout that I created two years ago. It is a Christmas layout, but I really wanted to try making it with the new collection Turn the Page. Done and done :)

Since I wanted to use rainbow colors, I chose a variety of papers. Some papers are already printed with star motifs so it was quite easy, I just cut them out with scissors. This results in quite a lot of stars! But I still made a few more stars of different sizes out of other papers.

There are also chipboard sticker, wood veneer, and sticker stars. I have added them all onto the layout. I trimmed out some partial stars from the photo and added paper stars in their place. I layered some stars together and attached them with staples for a 3D effect. And finally, I used the Layerable Stamp Set to stamp stars in between! I hope you enjoy my layout!

I am LOVING seeing all of these layouts with Turn the Page! Makes my star-loving heart so happy :)
