Prague Christmas Market Layout for Kerri Bradford

I've got a new layout to share today using a pretty wreath cut file from the Kerri Bradford Studio Christmas Calendar!
First I enlarged and die cut the wreath using my Silhouette Cameo 3 from the Christmas Calendar from plain 12x12 white cardstock as well as these patterned papers from Turn the PagePaper 11 B-side (a traditional Christmas green), Paper 17 B-side (a traditional Christmas red), Paper 15 B-side (it's a yellow which kind of acts as gold which is a pretty traditional Christmas color!), and Paper 16 B-side (a nice minty blue, not super traditional, but I love mixing in pinks and blues!).
Once I had all of the wreaths die cut I snipped them into pieces - I used the red paper for the berries, the green paper for the branches, the yellow paper for the smallest leaves, and the mint blue for the larger leaves. Before adhering them in place I used my sewing machine to stitch around the white cardstock wreath several times for added texture. Then I used liquid glue to add the paper pieces on top and let it dry.

For the background I used Paper 23 B-side which is an ombre yellow (or gold!) with a pretty flower design that reminds me of falling snowflakes. I adhered the wreath on the left side, trimmed off the excess, and tucked my photo into the left. Next I embellished with bits and pieces from Turn the Page that I thought could work with a Christmas-themed page - a red cardinal bird Ephemera Die CutChipboard Sticker flowers, acorns, and birds in the same color scheme, button Stickers, gold "splashes" from the Sticker Book all around the wreath for a fun accent, topped off with matching buttons.
I wrote my journaling on a gold Journaling Spot and tucked it into the wreath. For the title I used just the yellow letters from the Thickers to say "Prague" around the bottom of the wreath then typed, printed, and trimmed "christmas market" to finish the title. The page was feeling a little sparse so on the right side I trimmed a wedge of Paper 06 B-side and stitched it to the right edge. I made a scalloped border from white cardstock using a punch and tucked it under the paper wedge. Then I layered two groups of embellishments at the top and bottom.

That about finishes the layout! I hope you are inspired to try Kerri Bradford's festive Christmas Calendar cut files whether in a traditional sense or for a scrapbooking layout or card! And I hope you see how fun it is to use Turn the Page for even Christmas layouts! You just have to pull the right colors :)
