There is no such thing as "too colorful" as is clear from this new layout by Bea Valint!
Hello ladies! I’m so excited to be back with a new layout using the awesome Pick-Me-Up collection! It is springtime here and what could be better than to feature all the lovely colors of the season with a big flower with colorful petals?!
I love Paige’s Large Flower cut file and wanted to add dimension to the beautiful petals. To do this I cut the flower 4 times from white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo 3: first just the innermost petal-circle; the second time the second petal circle etc. I backed the petals with patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad, bent up the edges, and adhered the layers together.
I trimmed my photo into a circle and added the title under the photo using a Chipboard Sticker. I splashed watercolors across a yellow cardstock background.
I placed the flower almost at the center but a little bit left to bring more interest. On the right side I created a cluster using Chipboard Stickers, Washi Tape, Stickers, a fussy cut moth from Paper 14, Mini Thickers, and a little snippet of Paige's Flower Frame cut file. I finished it off with some machine stitching.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I could inspire you with this colorful layout!
