Feast your eyes upon this colorful beauty of a layout by Lorilei Murphy!

I have been wanting to make a layout with the design of the cut file layered on top for awhile. Not sure if it was luck or beginner skill in the Silhouette software but I figured out how to extract one of the pretty flowers from the Geometric Flower Circle cut file and cut it separately. I cut the flower circle and nine flowers from white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo to get started.

I used the multi color jewel paper from the Take Me Away 12x12 Paper Pad to back the circle. I love how the colors in the paper give variation to the flowers in the circle without having to back each of them individually. I made sure that the yellow in the paper was set to the top right of the page to enhance the sunshine in the photo.

I love a circle design and for me it is a great opportunity to get my Thickers out for a big long title. I used alphas from Take Me Away, Fancy Free, Turn the Page, Oh My Heart, and Pick-Me-Up. They coordinate beautifully together and look so interesting! I chose a few spots for the white flowers and added co-ordinating colored buttons to the center of the flowers. A few Puffy Stickers, Rub-Ons, and Chipboard Stickers hearts from Pick-Me-Up provided cute little details.
