I love how design team member Stefanie Ried creates her own shapes from patterned papers and mixes them with fussy cut elements and other icons from my collections - perfection!
Once again this layout was an experiment. Mostly I have an idea in my head and then I try it out. Sometimes it will be a success and sometimes I do not like the result. With this layout I did not like it in the format 8.5x11". The garlands were just too small. So I slept over it one night and then changed the format to a 6x8" layout. If the motifs on the garlands are so small, then the layout must be smaller. And now I like it. I hope you do too!?
I punched out circles, hearts, and tags from the Pick-Me-Up 6x6 Paper Pad.
In addition, I fussy cut moths and bows and watermelons from Pick-Me-Up patterned papers.
I sewed the garlands with my sewing machine and then glued them onto my white cardstock layout.
Until next time!
