Today I've got another layout from my Paige's Process class at Big Picture Classes featuring a few different techniques: a full 12x12 photo, mixing & matching Thickers, and a punched paper border!
I made a full 12x12 photo layout of Fox so of course I needed to make one of Jane too! I printed it out on my home printer (I have a Canon Pro-100) and left a lot of white space on the right side. Then I used the Thickers from all of my Pink Paislee collections (Pick-Me-Up, Turn the Page, Oh My Heart, Take Me Away, and Fancy Free) to create the long title.
I did some trial and error on a different paper first before putting the title on the photo - once Thickers are placed on photos they're there to stay. Still, for texture and to make sure they stayed in place permanently, I machine stitched through each row of words.

Next came the border – I wanted the eye to stay within the page so I began punching scalloped and lace borders from white cardstock and colorful patterned papers from all my 6x6 paper pads. To finish I created a little cluster on the bottom left corner
Be sure to check out the start-to-finish process video in Lesson 7 of Paige's Process class at Big Picture Classes!
