I love the softness and daintiness of this new layout by design team member Lorilei Murphy!
I cut the Scalloped Banner cut file from white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo 3 without any idea of page design or which collection I would use. Once I saw the pretty tiny scalloped border on the scallops I knew light and airy would be perfect.
I chose the Take Me Away collection and used the soft lavender, mint, and coral papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad to back the cut file.
Each end where the scallops join together is the perfect place to add a little embellishment cluster. I have been wanting to use the potted flowers from the Chipboard Stickers forever! YAY perfect spot found for it. I added the "happy happy happy" banner with a bit of white string to finish it off.
On the other banner end spots I used little buttons from Take Me Away. It looks like the buttons and embellishments are helping to hold the banner. I added some pretty layers around my photo and decided to center my photo cluster at the top of the banner swag.
SUPPLIES: TAKE ME AWAY: 12x12 Paper Pad, Buttons, Ephemera Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers; Cut file: Scalloped Banner by Paige Evans; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo; white cardstock
