I brought a few new-to-me collections with me to my parent's house to scrap with during this in-between time. For this layout I used the Hawthorne collection by Heidi Swapp.
I started by die cutting my Butterfly Heart cut file from a purple patterned paper. Then I ungrouped all of the butterflies and die cut them individually from all of the Hawthorne patterned papers.Once the butterflies were cut, I backed the background with an ombre paper and then lightly adhered the butterflies on top. I machine stitched through the butterflies and then bent up the wings for dimension.
I still have lots of this collection leftover so I'll save it for a mini album :)
