Me Mini Book by Stefanie Ried

Hello and welcome to a new mini album from me, Steffi! My favorite paper with the women (Paper 09 from Pick-Me-Up) had been on my desk for a long time. I LOVE it!! Until now I had no idea what I could do with it. But since I wanted to make a book just for myself for a long time, I finally used the paper. And it fits perfectly.

I would like to fill the album with my thoughts, photos etc. in the next months. Just take time for me more often. No matter if it's a sport or just reading a book. I'm not doing all that enough.

I have also cut out a few pendants as motivation. They're perfect, right?


I used cardboard for the book cover. The inner part is designed so that I can replace the booklets at any time, because I want to use the album for a very long time. Sort of like the Travelers Notebooks so popular right now.

Flower Background Layout by Lady Nany

Hey friends, Lady Nany here with a new project today. I've been wanting to use 12x12 cut files like the Flower Confetti but my Silhouette Curio has a size limitation, so I'm going to tell you how I solved it. First, I adjusted the design to fit my mat and copied the design below to form a strip. In the next cut, I completed the space with an elongated rectangle, and thus covered the entire page.

I cut the design on white cardstock and chose Paper 02 from the Turn the Page collection for my background. Next step, I sewed the edges of the rectangles with a sewing machine. I covered a part with gesso and applied Distress Oxides. Once dry, I spilled metallic watercolor in golden color on the surface.

Then, I started playing with the digital elements of pack 2, pack 3, pack 6, and Stickers. Before pasting, I added green cotton yarn to give visual interest.

I'm a lover of flowers (who isn't?) so I cut out some of them from Paper 15 to decorate.

I wrote the journaling to the left of the point of interest that forms the photograph, stamped the date on one of the elements, and that's all friends!

Sweet You Layout by Cristina Sales

Hi ladies, Cristina here, I hope all is going well for all of you! Today I would like to share my newest project made for Paige + Silhouette design team. You have to know I love all the geometric shapes so when I saw this Heart Flower cut file, I had to use it immediately.

I decided to use white cardstock to cut the shape and I folded it up in the middle to create a 3D effect. On another white cardstock I created my background using watercolors in a light green color. I created a circle shape too and I used my brush to run the color all around the cut shape then I glued the cut shape on the watercolor background. With my Silhouette Cameo I cut some hearts from vellum and I stitched them together. Finally, I glued my hearts all around, following the shape of my composition.

I stamped randomly some scripts in black and pink to complete my composition. I decorated my picture with Turn the Page digital collection. I printed and cut some stripes of different patterns, then I added some die cuts from the Oh My Heart collection, and I completed my page with a paper doily. I cut some alphabet letters to create my title using some dies and an acrylic word to make a strong contrast. Tiny buttons and some enamel dots are always my final added elements. Looking at my page I thought there was too much green, so I decided to add some splatter drops of white gesso that I previously mixed with water and my page was done!

Summer Layout by Flóra Farkas

It’s Flóra here today! I hope you had an amazing summer and you are excited to document all the fun memories. I am sharing my latest 12x12 scrapbook page made with the colorful Pick-Me-Up collection which includes many summer related elements. For a background I grabbed a mint textured cardstock and created a circle with lots of embellishments.

I picked out all stickers and die cut pieces I wanted to use from Chipboard Stickers, Stickers, Puffy Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts and Haberdashery Multi-Pack. I loved finding the right place for every single element.  I created my title using white Mini Thickers and colorful Chipboard Thickers. I really love these alpha Thickers, they always add a wow effect to my pages. In the end I placed my photo and added machine stitches in the corners.  That's it for today! See you soon again! Cutie Sweetness Darling (Chain Link Stitched Flower) Layout

I have a new layout featuring a chain link stitched flower to share today!

In Adobe Illustrator I designed a flower cut file made of tiny dots (for stitching holes) and then had my Silhouette Cameo 3 draw the flower and cut the holes at the same time - now I don't have to guess where to stitch since it's drawn right on the paper!

I decided to do a chain link stitch because it adds so much texture! I used all six strands of white DMC embroidery floss. Not gonna lie, it took about 18 hours to do this stitching over the course of about a month. A bit crazy? Sure! Worth it? Totally! I find stitching therapeutic and always love the results, especially doing the chain link stitch.

After I finished stitching the flower, I fussy cut some flowers from papers in Oh My Heart and Turn the Page then layered them on the left side with a photo of my daughter on top. I like how the flowers peek out from behind the picture and bring lots of pops of color to the page. Before I glued anything down I splashed black India ink in three places to create a visual triangle and to create a nice contrast between all of the white.

I created the title using mini white foam Mini Thickers from Pick-Me-Up placed along the curves of the stitched flower and I wrote journaling between the title words to finish.

Love You Layout for JOANN

I'm so excited to share my 4th layout made with scrapbooking supplies that I found at JOANN stores!

I have a process video so you can see exactly how this layout came together:

I started with the Take Me Away 12x12 Patterned Paper Pad and found the paper with all the squares of different patterns. I trimmed that paper into columns and then used the Confetti Hearts by EK Success to punch hearts from every square. I sorted the three larger hearts into piles and then made layered hearts by stacking sets of three together. Then I used my Brother sewing machine to stitch through all of the layered hearts and bent the flaps to create lots of dimension.

Then I got to work on the background. On a 12x12 piece of mint blue textured cardstock I used white acrylic paint and scraped it across the middle section. I modified my Wonky Hearts Background cut file by repeating it 4 times and then cut it from scratch cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo 3. Using that background as a stencil, I scraped modeling paste tinted with pink acrylic paint onto the background. Once all that dried (with the help of a hair dryer cuz I'm impatient haha!) I splashed watercolors in colors to match the hearts on top of the mixed media.

Next I arranged the layered hearts to spell "LOVE YOU" on top, but I couldn't really tell what it said. So I designed a cut file called Love You with Stitching Holes and cut it from smooth white cardstock. With the holes already pierced I got straight to work back stitching through them using white DMC embroidery floss. I used foam squares to attach the stitched letters over the hearts and now the title stood out and was legible :)

Oh, before adhering the "O" letters I backed them with photos of cute Jane being her cute self. I used a pencil to draw lines for journaling and then wrote my journaling with a gray pen.

The layout didn't seem quite finished so I sprinkled more of the tinier punched hearts around the top and bottom edge using Tombow Liquid Glue to adhere them in place. All finished!

Geometric T-Rex Dinosaur Layout by Kim Jeffress

Hi everyone! It's Kim Jeffress here today with a new layout! Having two boys it is sometimes tricky to find scrapbook supplies. Enter the Geometric T-Rex Dinosaur cut file! My youngest aged 9 is and has been obsessed with dinosaurs for several years now, so when I saw this new cut file I knew straight away what story I was going to tell. The thing I love the most about this cut file is how it can be customized with different colored papers inside the geometric shapes to suit the colors and mood of your layout! Let me share a little more about my layout.

I cut my dinosaur full size using some white cardstock and a Silhouette Cameo and then I grabbed Paper 17 from the Turn the Page collection and traced and trimmed out various colors to fill each geometric shape. I left some shapes  blank to allow for some contrast and also to allow the eye to rest. I then went ahead and adhered my cut file to some white cardstock with pop dots for extra dimension. I had previously trimmed about a half an inch from two sides of the white cardstock and laid it over Paper 13 from the Turn the Page collection to create a bright & colorful border.

I then tucked in some embellishments in and around my cut file, including the Heidi Swapp Storyline sticker, clear stickers from the Heidi Swapp #stickerbook, and bits and pieces from the Turn the Page Journaling Spots. I punched some stars from white cardstock to add some extra interest to the top of my page.

To complete my layout I added my all important journaling using strips of journaling I typed using my We R Memory Keepers Typecast Typewriter and splashed some Heidi Swapp Colorshine in Black in and around the cut file.

We Got That Zest Layout by Missy Whidden

Hey friends, Missy here! As soon as I saw Paige’s Lemon Slice cut file, an idea popped into my head and I just had to get started on a layout. Actually, a title to go with this cut file sort of happened first and I went with it. I scrapped this fun photo of my mom, my sister, and me and went with lots of fun colors and flowers. I cut the lemon from Pick-Me-Up Paper 07 and backed most of it with Oh My Heart Paper 06. I backed the rest of it with vellum. I really liked the colors and how it just jazzed up the lemon. I embellished with lots of bits and pieces from both of these collections.

To add some texture to the lemon, I machine stitched through the vellum parts and around the curved edge. I didn’t want to overload the lemon with lots of extra embellishments, but I did use some Pick-Me-Up Chipboard Stickers and Oh My Heart Chipboard Stickers around the bottom area of the photo. I also added adhesive foam under the lemon for more dimension.

I fussy cut several flowers from Oh My Heart Paper 13 as well as a cute lemon from Pick-Me-Up Paper 07. I love all the pinks, yellows, and oranges together.

I combined some of the Pick-Me-Up Mini Thickers with the Oh My Heart Thickers to create my title. I added a bit of color to the white alphas by smudging some periwinkle Distress Oxide on them - that helps them stand off the page a bit more. I topped it off with a cute lemon sticker from the Pick-Me-Up Puffy Stickers. I also tucked in a few floral stickers from the 30-page Paige Evans #StickerBook.

Here’s one more close-up of the background work. I used clear gesso first and then used Vicki Boutin Art Crayons and some Shimmerz to create this watercolor look. I used the crayons on plastic packaging first and then smudged the color onto the background with my fingers.

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to incorporate this cut file into your next project! It was a lot of fun create!

Folded Hexagons Mini Album by Lucile Peignon

Hello everyone, it's Lucile! Today I present to you my first mini album for this design team. I chose to use Folded Hexagons Mini Album cut file because I find the shape of this mini very original, it looks like a flower! And I decided to use the Oh My Heart collection to decorate it.

The first step and my favorite, the sewing! I started by sewing the central paper to add volume. Then I sewed small pockets to be able to slide in additional photos. Finally, I added different stitches to decorate my papers.

I also added hexagons that open in the album to add more photos. I cut them directly with my Silhouette Cameo by joining two hexagons.

I created a pocket with vellum and I decorated it with stickers and I added gold sequins inside.

Finally, I decorated the cover of the album with washi tape and embellishments. I hope I have inspired you!
