Hi everyone, Cristina here to show you my newest layout I made using one of my favorite cut files by Paige Evans, the Geometric Flower!
I really fall in love with any kind of flower, so this one caught my eyes and I immediately decided to use it. First I resized the flower shape in a smaller size and cut it out from white cardstock, then I added a beautiful patterned paper from Oh My Heart underneath and a vellum sheet in between to create a matte effect.
To obtain a 3D look I decided to cut three Rolled Flowers from white cardstock again. I resized them in three different sizes and added splatters and drops of pink acrylic paint before rolling them up.
I chose that color because it matches the pink of the flowers of the patterned paper and also because pink rocks! To complete my layout I added a title using a digital file from the Pick-Me-Up collection and some butterfly stickers from Turn the Page collection. Some tiny glass cabochons and black drops are the final touch.
I really enjoyed making this project because I love so much all the geometric shapes!
I hope you like my page so let’s try to make something new following my example or even something different and share the picture on Paige's Facebook Group (Happy Scrappy Place), we can’t wait to see all your creative projects!
