Here is one of the layouts I was going to teach at Crop & Create in Cornwall yesterday, but life had other plans for me. Anyway, it's called Silly Selfies and it uses only a few things from my Pick-Me-Up collection!
I started with the light pink ledger B-side of Paper 20 as the background. Then I cut apart all of the individual squares of patterns from Paper 10 and cut those squares in half to make triangles. I arranged the triangles into rainbow order. I made a mark with a pencil in the middle of the background, 6 inches in and 6 inches down and then starting in the middle, placed the triangles into nine squares made up of four triangles each, using similar colored papers for each square (all the purple papers for one square, red papers for another square, yellow for another, etc). I distressed the edges of each triangle and then adhered them in place using dimensional adhesive, trying not to place them too perfectly so you can tell the triangles are individual pieces and give the layout a handmade look.Silly Selfies Layout

Kite Layout by Kim Jeffress
Saturday, September 29, 2018
Hi everyone! It's Kim Jeffress here today with a new layout! I love telling authentic stories, stories of my family, stories that record the big and small moments of our lives. For me that is my passion in my Memory Keeping. I was so excited to see the new Kite cut file from Paige and that it would perfectly accent a recent visit to a kite festival here in Brisbane. I decided to cut it full size so it would make a bold statement on my page.
I cut my kite cut file on white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo and then backed each section with clear vellum. I wanted the background to still show through but create a translucent feel to the kite. I then adhered the kite to my background patterned paper - that perfect cloud paper from the Pink Paislee Wild Wild collection with some pop dots.
I then tucked my photos in and around the kite. Overlapping the photos adds some subtle texture and dimension which is pleasing to the eye. I added my title using that “fun” epoxy sticker from Crate Paper, adhering it to the tail of the kite. I added some elements from the Turn the Page Journaling Spots as accents, poking out from the edges of my photos.
Finally, I added my all important journaling to the bottom of my layout. I love that I now have this family memory safely tucked away in my scrapbooks! Makes me happy!

Remember Layout by Flóra Farkas
Friday, September 28, 2018
It’s Flóra today! I am super excited to share my very first layout made with the brand new Whimsical collection. Have you seen the yummy details yet? You will love every single piece!
For this layout I picked a color palette. I chose pink and ochre yellow shades. I gathered all I could find with these colors. I chose the B-side of Paper 01 for the background because it has a lovely light pink pattern. I cut out cute frames from Paper 13 and arranged them on my layout.
I placed my photo on the left and started to decorate the layout. I fussy cut gorgeous flowers and leaves from Paper 03 and added them behind the squares. I also cut out lovely labels from Paper 08 and decorated my page with them. I have Puffy Stickers, Rub-Ons, and Butterfly Charms from the collection so I couldn’t resist using them. They are super cute!
I cut out a beautiful Moth cut file by Paige with my Silhouette Cameo. I didn’t back it because I liked the pretty lace look. I added the title under the photo. I selected pinkish and yellow letters from the Pick-Me-Up Chipboard Thickers to create the word "remember". I love how these Thickers coordinate with the new Whimsical collection.
I hope you like my new layout made with Whimsical! This gorgeous line will be the perfect choice to document your fall memories!

My Love Layout by Lucile Peignon
Thursday, September 27, 2018
Hello everyone, it's Lucile! For my newest design team layout I wanted to use a photo of my boyfriend and me at Disneyland. So I used the Scalloped Heart cut file and the Oh My Heart collection.
To begin, I filled the heart with different papers from the collection. I also cut strips of paper to stick on the heart and add volume
I wanted to add some text on the heart so I wrote "my love" using the Thickers from the collection and following the lines of the cut. I also added stickers.
To highlight the photo, I glued several papers with different patterns. Then I added flowers, die cuts, stickers, and washi tape. Finally, I decorated my heart using flowers. I stuck them with 3D foam squares to add volume. I hope you like this layout!

Take Me Away Cards by Zsoka Marko
Wednesday, September 26, 2018
Hey there crafty peeps, Zsoka here with you today to share my latest cards I've made for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team! The collection I chose for today's projects is the super gorgeous Take Me Away from a couple of years ago. I don't have a whole lot of this line left, mainly because back when it came out I didn't make a lot of feminine pages and no cards at all either. So I didn't buy all of it, which of course I regret now terribly! So I was ecstatic when I found a 6x6 Paper Pad in my stash! I didn't even remember I had it!
I was drawn to the navy floral paper. I haven't used it before. I have no idea why I didn't buy the 12x12 paper considering navy has always been one of my favorite colors! Both my cards are mounted on an A2 size top folding card base. For the first one I cut a strip of the navy paper and another one with tiny bows, the two together measure 4.25 x 5.5". I cut the Poppies cut file from a coral patterned paper.
I then backed the flowers with a lighter shade of coral. For the leaves I used the same navy paper as before. I adhered the flowers to the card front using foam adhesive. I added a cute Fabric Bow, a couple of small fussy cut flowers, and a sentiment that also came from the 6x6 Paper Pad.
On my next card I used this adorable floral paper as background. It's very busy so I wanted to keep the rest of the design fairly simple. I cut the Flower Picture Frame cut file from another piece of coral patterned paper and I backed the flowers with a darker shade this time and the leaves with a lighter shade. Using liquid glue, I adhered the frame to my card front.
I added some tangled gold thread and a chipboard flower to the bottom left and an embroidery hoop with a bow to the top right. This hoop serves as my sentiment. To finish off this card I added some gold ink splatters.
That's it! I hope you like today's cards! Thanks for stopping by! I wish you a wonderful day!

Wrocław, Poland Mini Album for JOANN
Tuesday, September 25, 2018
This blog post is sponsored by JOANN.
I made a mini album using mostly my Pink Paislee Pick-Me-Up collection that I found at JOANN.com!
First, here is a flip through of the mini album so you can see how it folds and unfolds:
I started by die cutting the base of my Hexagon Mini Album cut file from smooth white cardstock using a Silhouette Cameo 3. Then I cut the middle layers of hexagons from patterned papers found in the 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the top layer of hexagons (with a shape cut out from the middles) from more smooth White Cardstock.
Then I did some mixed media on the stop layer of hexagons. First, I applied Modeling Paste through a stencil that I made with my Textures Background cut file on each hexagon and let them dry. Once they were dry I painted them with Watercolors to match the color of patterned paper they sat on top of - so pink for the pink paper, yellow for the yellow paper, etc.
For the final layer of mixed media I splashed White Acrylic Paint on top. Then I machine stitched around each hexagon using white thread. I love the additional texture this adds. I adhered the finished hexagons in place using foam squares. Time for photos and embellishing! I picked pictures from our day in Wrocław, Poland and tucked them into the die cut shape openings.
For the embellishments I combed through the 6x6 Paper Pad, Ephemera Die Cuts, Journaling Spots, 2x2 Paper Pad Swatch Books, and the Washi Tape Book to find tiny images to fussy cut and little bits and pieces to layer over each section to create interest and pops of color & fun.
I spent most of my time working on the inner hexagons but the album felt incomplete with the blank backs. It worked out perfectly to keep going because then I got to add more photos and journaling! I always have the hardest time narrowing down which pictures to use and at first I only had the six inside - by completing the backs of the hexagons I was able to include five more!
I kept these back sections much more simple - no mixed media, just a photo, a few layers of die cuts and fussy cut images.
For one section I copied and pasted our blog post recap journaling into a hexagon in Adobe Illustrator, printed it out, cut it out, and adhered it over Washi Tape strips. I love how the Washi Tape peeks out from under the edges and adds lots of color.
I also wrote a bit of journaling in the center section highlighting my favorite part about the day - the little gnome statues scattered throughout the Old Town!
Here are some more details and close ups of the sections of this mini album
Here is what the finished mini album looks completely open on the back side.
The cut file includes two slits in the center where a piece of ribbon or in this case a paper strip slips through and then it also includes a bow that I cut from pink paper. I used velcro dots to keep the closure in place and then added "WROCLAW" navy blue mini Foam Thickers on top of the bow for the title. I layered flower die cuts above the bow and wrote "Poland" with a blue pen on a tiny flower card fussy cut from the first paper in the 6x6 Paper Pad. On the front hexagon I did a chain link stitch around the edges and then applied more modeling paste through a stencil for a pretty texture.
And that my friends is the finished project! I hope you are inspired to check out my Pink Paislee Pick-Me-Up collection at JOANN.com and create a fun & colorful mini album!

Her Own Paradise Layout by Missy Whidden
Hey, friends Missy here! I decided to dig into some of my favorite papers that I’ve been hoarding from Paige’s Fancy Free collection. This was her very first collection with Pink Paislee and it’s still one of my faves. I began with Paige’s Poppies cut file and decided to go with a tropical feel. Sometimes I just make it work, and that’s what I did here. I absolutely love Fancy Free Paper 10. The colors and abstract design is just gorgeous and I used it to back the three large flowers. I used Paper 12, which is an aqua color, to back the leaves. I spritzed a bit of green ink spray on it to get a little bit of a color variation. I added a nice pop of blue with my pool photo.
I love the tropical feel of these flowers. I added a Fancy Free Button to the center of each one with a bit of embroidery thread tied through them. I tucked my photo under the flowers and added even more flowers around the outer edge of the cut file. Most of those came from the 30-page Paige Evans #StickerBook. I also fussy cut some of the fun circle phrase pieces from the Fancy Free 6x6 Paper Pad and used those in a few spots.
I used some of the white Pick-Me-Up Mini Thickers for my title and I added some blue ink and a bit of gelato to the bottom to make them pop off the white background. I layered a few of the 30-page #StickerBook stickers under it. I fussy cut a few of the gorgeous Fancy Free flowers and added them to the right side of the photo along with some leaves and a Fancy Free Tag. Those flowers are from Paper 07.
I added clear gesso to my white cardstock background first, and then came in with matching colors of ink spray. I used the packaging technique and added lots of splatters. I used a few of the acetate pieces from the Fancy Free Ephemera Die Cuts. Here and in a few other spots I added a few Pick-Me-Up Rub-Ons.
Do you still have any of the Fancy Free collection? It was fun to revisit some of these beautiful papers and play with the embellishments again! I hope this inspires you in some way. Thanks for stopping by!

New Beginnings Layout by Lorilei Murphy
Monday, September 24, 2018
Hello friends! Lorilei here! The one thing I love about scrapbooking and it is particularly prevalent when I get ready to make a layout with Paige's cut files is the mystery of what I will make! That might sound a bit silly, but I find it fun to just stumble across something that speaks to me at that moment and go with it! Looking through Paige's cut files is like browsing through a candy shop. The files say "pick me" for this layout, I chose the Flowers cut file and cut it from white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo 3.
I decided to get out my Vicki Boutin mixed media goodies and paint up a background. I wanted the flowers to stand out and I could have painted the flowers and put them on a white background, and I think they would have looked stunning that way too! I used colors from my photo and some pretty gold texture paste. I love the fall colors. I was also inspired by the little 2x2 Paper Pads from Turn the Page.
I added stickers around the layout from the Turn the Page Sticker Book some stamping in black ink for more texture.
I decided to paint the flower centers black and outline the petals with sketchy black lines so the flowers would pop even more! I added foam dot adhesive for dimension. I am really happy with how my layout turned out. This Flowers cut file is really gorgeous and I am sure I will cut it again and try painting the flowers!
