I’ve made wreaths in my Paige’s Pages lessons before and I’ve made layered flowers in my Paige’s Pages lessons before, but never exactly like this! Once again I want to reiterate that you don’t always have to think of something new – there are so many ways to use techniques in slightly different combinations. These flowers aren’t the same shape and colors as before and this wreath design isn’t the same. Combined together, they create a whole new layout!
A couple months ago I went through all of my Pink Paislee collections (PICK-ME-UP, TURN THE PAGE, OH MY HEART, TAKE ME AWAY, and FANCY FREE), pulled out the solid colors, and then arranged them in rainbow order. Lots of times I scrap by collection but other times I just want my layouts to be about the COLOR! For this layout I turned to that paper stack and created seven flowers each made up of 9 different patterned papers in the same color scheme. You can find the free cut file to make these flowers in Lesson 4 of Paige's Pages 16 – have fun! Once the flowers were made it was easy to finish up the page – I wanted the flowers to be the star of the show and kept the rest simple.
Find the start-to-finish process video and more tips & tricks over in Lesson 4 of Paige's Pages 16 at Big Picture Classes! :)
