Smile Layout by Cristina Sales

Hi ladies Cristina here! My holidays come to an end but my scrapping activity has never stopped so today I show you my newest page I made! I already told you how much I love geometric shapes and so this time I used the beautiful Triangles Geometric Background cut file by Paige.
First I resized the shape to get a horizontal line and I cut it on white cardstock using a Silhouette Cameo. Then I chose a patterned paper to put underneath the cardstock and used one from Turn the Page that is a light pink color with tiny dots. I have to put pink in every project I make. Then I stitched all around the triangle shape using my sewing machine. To create a 3D effect I mixed modeling paste with acrylic paint and I added the paste by spreading it on the circle stencil.

Now it’s time to create my composition all around the picture, so I chose some foil die cuts and I printed some digital files. Layering is my favorite way to decorate my picture. I have to create a focal point to catch the attention of the people who take a look to my page.

I completed my page by adding tiny buttons and some sequins in different sizes, a wood clip to fix the tag to the picture, and some gesso and gold drops mixed up with water. Making the background is very simple and it's fun choosing decorations and embellishments to add all around the picture! Thank you for stopping by and see you in my next post!
