The Love List Layout

Hello hello! I have a new layout to share today featuring the Scrapbook.com Stencil Brushes, Vicki Boutin Art Crayons in Warm, Cool, and Neutral, and the Amy Tangerine Sunshine & Good Times collection!

Here is a process video so you can see exactly how this layout came together:

I started by die cutting my Flower Bunch Background from white cardstock and then I used spray adhesive on the back - I let the adhesive dry for a couple minutes before sticking it down onto a smooth white cardstock background. Then I used the Vicki Boutin Art Crayons (in Warm, Cool, and Neutral) and drew them onto an acrylic block, spritzed it with water, and then used the Stencil Brushes to pick up the paint and apply it over the cut file stencil. I made the center of every flower yellow, the petals a variety of rainbow colors, and in between the flowers I painted green since there aren't any leaves on this design but I still wanted green somewhere.

Once I finished painting I removed the stencil and viola! A fun, custom background! I die cut the flower background once again from textured white cardstock and placed it back on top using foam squares for texture.

 To embellish I went through my scrapbook stash and look how perfectly the Amy Tangerine Sunshine & Good Times collection colors matched! It was meant to be. I trimmed the background 1/4" on all sides and then matted it with one of the colorful patterned papers. I placed a photo of Jane at the bottom and embellished with bits & pieces from the collection. I wrote bulleted journaling on a "the love list" card and backed a clear die cut with white cardstock so it shows up.
