Hi ladies Cristina here, happy Saturday to all of you! Today is my time to show you what I made with one of Paige's cut files. I love Corner Filigree cut file and so I chose it to create a page different than usual.

I created a colored background with brush pens in different shades of aqua mixing them with water and applied to my sheet using watercolor brushes. I used heavy white cardstock and cut the filigree with my Silhouette Cameo then I followed the shape all around the filigree adding color. I added gesso mixed with water and some drops of aqua color and waited for it to dry.

I saw there was too much color all around the filigree so I added some dark colored stamps with script theme, on the color and everywhere on the filigree shape. Underneath the filigree I added Turn the Page Paper 19 with different shades of grey color and light aqua. This paper is double-sided so on the back side there are beautiful stars in different colors which I fussy cut some of them out and added vellum to them, then I stitched all of them together. I love so much the loose thread ends! I used those stars to create a composition all around my picture, finally adding some Stickers and Oh My Heart die-cuts to complete my page.

When I decide to create a watercolor background I need to leave lots of white space all around the colored part of paper because I think it needs only one focal point.

I hope you like my work and I’m here if you have any kind of questions about it! Thanks for stopping by and see you in the next post!
