World Card Making Day 2018

I made a card for the big celebrations happening over at the Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog for World Card Making Day!
HOW TO: Trim a piece of smooth white cardstock to 8 x 4" then fold it in half to make the card base. Machine stitch all across the front using white thread in a sunburst design to create lots of texture. Punch (20) 3/4" squares from a rainbow of patterned papers (I picked papers from my Fancy FreeTake Me AwayOh My HeartTurn the Page, and Pick-Me-Up collections) then trim them all in half diagonally to create triangles. Find the center of the card base, 2" in and 2" down, then use the middle as a starting place for adhering the triangles into a quilt heart shape. Use foam squares to adhere the triangles for lots of dimension. Type a sentiment on a Typecast Typewriter, trim it down, then adhere it across the front to finish.

For kicks and giggles here are some of my other favorite cards!
HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY 2018!
