Hi everyone, Jana here with you today! This is my first layout with the Whimsical collection from Paige and Pink Paislee! I am so in love and because this collection is full of creative things I decided to go with it. I grabbed the Box of Crayons cut file and filled it with pretty colors of paper and vellum. The paper I used for the crayons is Paper 07 - it has some frames on it and different shades of color, perfect for the crayons.
I fussy cut images from patterned papers (flowers from Paper 14 and creative things from Paper 06) to add to the central cluster.
I added watercolors to the background, which I previously painted with white acrylic paint. My title is a short version from a quote I found on Pinterest. I used the awesome Foam Mini Thickers for it - they are one of my favorite pieces from Whimsical!
The cut file was perfect for this type of layout. I really love how the vellum looks behind the open space and you can spy some color from the background. Being creative is my way of life, oh yes, it is!
