Happy Layout by Cristina Sales

Hi friends! Cristina Sales here today! This is my second-to-last page made in 2018 to close a wonderful year full of joy, creative events, many satisfactions, some changes in my life, but being a creative lady helped me to go on and now I just have to thank all of you for supporting me and my work. Many thanks to this lovely and so creative lady who chose me to express my creativity with her beautiful products, thanks so much Paige! This is my page and for it I chose a Branch cut file, one of the most beautiful you can find in the Silhouette store made by Paige.
To emphasize the watercolored base, since the chosen color was also very soft, I decided to use these wonderful Whimsical 2x2 Paper Pads, choosing patterns and colors that are chromatically compatible with the base of watercolor. I created my composition with thickened double-sided adhesive and I wanted to overlap the various patterns chosen in a staggered way to give movement to the whole page.

I then cut the cut file using white cardstock and my Silhouette Cameo and before that I resized it to the portion of decorated space and pasted it onto the patterned squares. Then I added the photo and some floral decoration with StickersChipboard Stickers, and Puffy Stickers because flowers can never be missing on my projects. I didn’t add anything else because I didn’t want to make it too heavy and leave the sense of lightness given by the soft color of the background.

To match the gold of some stickers I added a few drops of gold color shine and the date with a roller stamp. As always, I left a lot of empty space around the composition to give more attractive force to the picture and the surrounding decorations. That’s it dear ladies, I hope you like my page! Thanks for stopping by and see you in my next post!
