Here We Are! Layout by Cristina Sales

Hi friends! Cristina Sales here today to share with you another page I made for Paige! The New Year started with ideas about various uses of watercolor backgrounds so today here is another one.

To start I chose Paige's Flower Banner cut file. I love using delicate florals on my projects. When I was looking at the photo I wanted to use on this page I immediately decided to use this cut file because it was just the right one for the result I was looking for.

I decided to print my photo black and white to be able to focus more attention on the colors of the patterned papers. I needed a paper full of colors so I chose this one in the Whimsical 12x12 Paper Pad. I think these golden details add so much light to the whole composition and the effect is really awesome. To create the watercolor background I used Neocolor II by Caran d’Ache mixed with water because I really love the effect they add to any kind of decoration I decide to create. I usually use an acetate sheet to add color on my page because the randomness with which the stains are formed is really wonderful.

Then I cut out beautiful pink flowers from Paper 03 and added them over the cut file using foam tape to create a 3d effect. My composition was already full of details after that but I also decided to add some tiny Chipboard Stickers and create my title using the Foam Mini Thickers, so pretty! Some color drops all around the composition was the final touch to complete my page.
