Happy new day! It’s Kim Jeffress here and I'm thrilled to be back with a quick and easy layout using Paige’s Blah Blah Blah cut file. I am normally a slow scrapper taking a long time to place photos, titles, and ephemera, but this layout came together so quickly because of the simple design. Two 6x4 photos placed at the bottom of the page and the Blah Blah Blah cut file centered above the photos.
I started with that beautiful yellow ombre piece of patterned paper from the Turn the Page collection, Paper 23, as my base. I then cut the Blah Blah Blah cut file on white cardstock and adhered it to the top of my layout. I then added my title over the top of the cut file using a Heidi Swapp puffy sticker, some of the Whimsical Foam Mini Thickers and Chipboard Stickers. I adore the cute Crate Paper megaphone with the Mini Foam Alphabet Thickers pouring out to form the sound!
The layering of the elements create a cohesive feel to my layout. I love how the straight lines of the cut file juxtapose against the different colors and shapes of my title and ephemera. It allows the title to create a big impact without being too bold. Definitely a design element I’ll be trying again!
Thanks for joining me today, I look forward to sharing my next layout with you soon!
