Adventure Layout by Kim Jeffress

Welcome back to the blog! Kim Jeffress here with a new layout using Paige's super cute Adventure cut file and the stunning  new Horizon collection. I used the Adventure cut file to accentuate these fun photos of my friends Jamie and Jen from my trip to Creativation last January. The adventure part comes from the fact that we took a trip to Target, Michaels, and The Cheesecake factory in an Uber. I used the map Paper 05 as my background and then cut the cut file on my Silhouette Cameo using white cardstock.
I then backed the letters of the cut file with vellum and added it to my layout using pop dots for added dimension. I placed the cut file on an angle to run along one of the roads on the map paper. It was the perfect starting point for my embellishments. I then adhered my small photos along the same diagonal to continue the flow across the page I added a strip of Washi Tape on one of my photos for a punch of color.

I then took some of the Whimsical Foam Mini Thickers and some Heidi Swapp Thickers and created my subtitle on top of the cut file. I love the effect this creates. Finally, I took some of the Ephemera Die Cuts and Stickers from the collection and added them in and around the cut file and photos. I love how this continues the theme of travel and adventure and adds more color and pattern around my layout.

Thanks for joining me today on the blog, I can’t wait to create with the Horizon collection again!
