Hello and welcome to a new project from me, Stefanie Ried! When I looked at the sheets from the new Horizon collection, I noticed Paper 12 with the circles because you can make small boxes out of them. Yes, really! I once saw a similar pattern in the Silhouette Design Store. And so I tried it first and it worked. Yay! It's very easy. In a short video I show you how you can make the mini boxes yourself.
You need Paper 12 from the Horizon collection. You will get six boxes out of this paper. For each box you need two circles.
Since the circles are not quite round, it is best to cut out the circles with a punch. That's easy too.
Then score the lines with a bone folder, bend them by hand, and glue the two circles together. Decorate with string and embellishments such as phrases fussy cut from the 2x2 Paper Pads, Thickers, Stickers, Chipboard Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Charms, and your mini boxes are ready!
I made several boxes out of two sheets of paper. I will use these as small thank yous.
As promised here is the tutorial:
Many thanks for looking at my project today! See you next time!
