Hello creative friends, it's Lady Nany sharing a pair of cards for Mother's Day. On this occasion I used the Cut and Fold Butterflies Background and Cut and Bend Flower Background cut files and Paige's Horizon and Whimsical collections.
First, I selected four colors of solid paper from the exclusive Project Pad in JoAnn stores and combined them in the same tones. I used the lighter color to cut the selected files.
To fill in the background, I used Washi Tape and placed the butterfly paper on top. I decorated with little flowers fussy cut from Paper 23 and the sentiment HAPPY MOMS DAY with Foam Mini Thickers from Whimsical. To finish I sewed the sides with a sewing machine and placed a droplet of glossy accents on each of the butterflies.
For the second card, I distressed the edges before sticking it to the base of the card. I decorated with Floral Die Cuts, Enamel Shapes, and more flowers fussy cut from Paper 23.
I added the sentiment with Foam Mini Thickers combined with the word "mother's" written with a brush pen and as an additional detail I drew polka dots with a white marker.
