Hi everyone, Jana Maiwald-McCarthy back again and I have a new layout to share with you! For this page I used two cut files: Cut and Fold Butterflies Background and Butterfly Background. I re-sized the butterflies so that I could layer them over the Cut and Fold Butterflies. I used the Horizon collection and the Project Pad available exclusively in JoAnn stores.

I cut the Cut and Fold Butterflies Background on a periwinkle blue paper from the Project Pad and the other butterflies from Paper 05 from. I added lots of white acrylic paint to the blue background and after the color was dry I stitched some of the single butterflies on top of the folded ones. I really love how dimensional this is. I placed Paper 10 behind the background so you can see some of the lime green peeking through.

I placed my picture between some of the butterflies and placed a journaling card from the Ephemera Die Cuts behind it. As I was making this layout I decided to stay in a monochromatic color scheme, everything is blue or green. The photo shows some spring flowers and they perfectly match the colors. The layout is already busy enough so I went with some single leaves and flowers from the Floral Die Cuts around the photo. I added some more little things from the Stickers on top of the picture and I used the Pick-Me-Up Mini White Foam Thickers for my title. My final touches were a stitched boarder around the blue paper and some distressed edges.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my layout!
