Old & Dear Friends Layout by Kim Jeffress

Welcome back to Paige's blog! It's Kim Jeffress here and I am thrilled to be back today sharing another layout using Paige’s cut files. For my newest layout I used not one but two of my new favorite cut files: Best Friends and a Cake. I think they make a perfect combination.

I cut both from some white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I started by cutting off the word “best” from the Best Friends cut file and backed it with some patterned paper from Heidi Swapp. I then adhered both cut files to my background paper also from Heidi Swapp. I then embellished the cut files with ephemera pieces like the Floral Die Cuts from Horizon and the Floral Die Cuts from Whimsical.

I tucked that cute little red bird from the Turn the Page Ephemera Die Cuts behind my photo for a fun pop of color. I then added stamping with some of the Acrylic Stamps from the Horizon collection and added my title using those colorful Foam Mini Thickers from the Whimsical collection.
