Hi everyone, Jana Maiwald-McCarthy back to share my final layout with you.
I grabbed the new Numbers Cascading cut file and cut it out from white cardstock using a Silhouette Cameo. I used the 6x6 Paper Pad from Whimsical to back the open numbers.
I placed my design in the middle of the background and added some watercolor splatters in different colors underneath. I grabbed some school-themed Chipboard Stickers and some from the Sticker Book from the Whimsical collection. The photo shows my oldest son who just finished school! The day was very emotional and he is not a little boy anymore! He will be 18 soon!
I found some matching Stickers from t Horizon, placed a yellow Ephemera Die Cut tag behind the picture, and I also fussy cut out one of the cute globes from Paper 11. I scattered everything around the numbers, on top of them, and also behind them. I really love the mix of the collections here. The inner pieces from the white numbers were also added to mix; I love how the white looks on white. I used a lot of 3D dots behind everything because I love the dimension and shadows it creates. I also used the Pick-Me-Up Mini Foam Thickers for the year and some words on top of the photo. I really love how this layout turned out.
And now let me say: “Thank YOU” to Paige who let me play with her stunning designs and cut files! I loved to hang out with you! I had a great time and I've learned so many new things about my Silhouette Cameo, settings, and how to use cut files!
Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you all a great summer!
