A Day of Magic Layout by Brianna Lepper

Hey y'all! Brianna Lepper here with another scrapbook layout for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team! I'm still completely obsessed with Paige's new Truly Grateful collection and wanted to use it to document a photo of my boys at Disneyland. Since we were about to walk down Main Street right after this photo was taken, I knew that Paige's Cityscape cut file would be perfect for this layout.
I took Paper 06 and cut it in half and placed the A-side face up on one half of my cutting mat and the B-side face up on the other half. Using my Silhouette Cameo 3, I then cut out the Cityscape cut file twice so that I could alternate each pattern. After it was cut out, I backed all of the windows in each building with some vellum from my stash and then used the B-side of Paper 07 to back the doors of each one.

I then decided that the trees from Paper 07 would also be perfect for this layout since I was starting to build a scene. So I fussy cut a few of the trees as well as a bunny and a chicken to save for embellishing later. While I was in the process of fussy cutting, I thought adding small flowers to the buildings would be just another fun detail on this page. So I cut the small florals from Paper 04 and ended up gluing them on the buildings. Cute right?!

After everything was fussy cut and backed, I grabbed some American Crafts mint cardstock as the base for my page and began adhering everything down using adhesive from my stash. Before I added the rest of my embellishments, I took some white acrylic paint and watered it down a bit and added some splatters to my page. I love the way white paint looks on top of colored cardstock. I then fussy cut some butterflies from Paper 05 and glued those down. Then I added some birds and a few of the small circle stickers from the Epoxy Stickers and sprinkled those around my page. For my title, I used both the Thickers and a word from the Epoxy Stickers. I couldn't resist adding some of the gorgeous floral pieces from the Floral Die Cuts as well as the super duper cute animals and mushrooms from the Puffy Stickers. It all added a nice touch of whimsy to this page and I thought it was super fitting being that we were about to spend an entire day at the most magical place there is - Disneyland!

Thank y'all so much for stopping by! This layout was super quick and easy to make and I hope I've inspired you in some way today. Like I've said before, Paige has truly knocked it out of the park again with this Truly Grateful collection. I can't wait to create another project with it! See y'all in my next post!
