Hey y'all! Brianna Lepper here with another layout for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team. I am super excited to share this one with you today because guess what arrived just in time? Paige's newest collection Truly Grateful! I can honestly say that I have truly LOVED every single one of her collections! Just when I think that she can't top the last one, she does. This collection has rich colors that are perfect for every season. Let's get to the project share!
Mixed media... What can I say. I'm obsessed. So with that being said, I did one of my favorite techniques again: using a cut file as a stencil! I prepped my white cardstock with some gesso so that I could apply lots of water and sprays to it. I used the Flower Background 8.5x11 cut file as a stencil and applied white modeling paste to it. After it dried, I applied colored shimmered sprays to create a watercolor background.
For my title, I used a phrase from the Epoxy Stickers and added some of the blue Mini Thickers from Paige's Pick-Me-Up collection to complete my title. I absolutely love all of the small elements on the Epoxy Stickers and sprinkled some of the circles around my page. It adds small pops of colors on the white cardstock and I love it! After all of the mixed media dried, I really wanted to change up my usual background so I decided to cut the same cut file again, just on a smaller scale. When it was finished cutting, I layered it and offset it on top of my mixed media. I love the added texture and dimension it gave!
To add even more interest on my page, I decided to use Paige's Layered Flower cut file and cut it out on Paper 14. I cut three out of the five flowers and layered them on top of each other. To finish them off, I added a Wooden Button and fluffed up the edges on each flower. I put them in two groups of threes and placed them on somewhat of a diagonal line across the page. I finished my layout by adding a few pieces from the Ephemera Die Cuts, the Journaling Spots, and a butterfly from both the Puffy Stickers and Stickers.
This collection is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to create more projects with it! It was so hard to choose what to use, I wanted to use it all! Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see y'all in my next post!
