Hello everyone! Jennifer Orr here! You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
As soon as I saw this Tree cut file by Paige I knew I wanted to play off the idea of the Giving Tree. It is a favorite book around here and in the photo of my son, he is reading the book. Since I wanted the tree to be the focal element I placed the photo of my son underneath. I love rainbows so I used Paper 03 from the Horizon collection along with some papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad for the leaves.
I wanted the tree to have a base so I hand cut some strips of green patterned paper and fringe cut the strips for texture. For the title I used Foam Mini Thickers from the Whimsical collection and I added a few embellishments (sun, birds, mushroom, and mini trees) from Paige's newest collection - Truly Grateful.

For my second layout I knew I wanted to stitch this awesome Pie Chart Heart cut file. I filled the inside pieces with a rainbow of papers from Whimsical and Horizon. For the center I traced the outline of the cut file and used that to cut my photo into a heart shape. I then offset it to create the paper frame around the photo.
I have always loved how Paige mixes and matches her Thickers so I used that technique here to create a title border around the cut file. I used Thickers from Paige's WhimsicalHorizonOh My HeartTurn the Page, and Pick-Me-Up collections. I just love all the colors together.

For my final layout I knew I wanted to do something with Paige's Layered Butterfly cut files. I decided on one Layered Butterfly design and knew I wanted to create a rainbow of layered butterflies.
To create a large focal element I first cut a large butterfly out of my background paper and then layered with strips of paper from Paige's HorizonOh My Heart, and Take Me Away collections. I fringed the strips for some texture and then stitched around the edge for dimension. I then cut coordinating papers for the layered butterflies. I had these photos of monarchs at the botanical garden and the colors coordinated perfectly with the papers so I layered the butterflies around my photos as if they were all flying together.

For the title I cut out a sentiment from a Horizon 2x2 Paper Pad and added a butterfly Chipboard Sticker for some color. I really love how all these colors work together and the dimension these layered butterflies give is gorgeous!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to check out Paige's cut files and scrapbook collections!
