Love Dashboard by Mik Godinho

Hi friends! It’s Mik here from Papermiks here today with a new blog entry. Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary and, like a planner girl, I’m gonna make a memory planner to celebrate this special date. I’ve chosen the beautiful Whimsical collection and two of Paige’s cut files: Love and Heart Confetti Background.

I started by die cutting the Heart Confetti Background from white cardstock and vellum with a Silhouette Cameo 3 on a 8 1/4 x 6 1/8 size to make the background. Then I cut the Love. To make my background, I layered Paper 08 with the background cut file to give it some romantic color in the back. I backed the Love letters with Whimsical patterned papers.

I attached the Love cut file using 3D foam squares. I believe that 90% of my projects use 3D adhesive - I really love the dimension and shadows it creates. In order to add more romance to my planner dashboard, I decorated the Love cut file with Floral Die Cuts, Ephemera Die Cuts, and I wrote “You” with Foam Mini Thickers. As you can see, we don’t need too much to make a beautiful planner dashboard. With a Silhouette Cameo 3, two cut files from Paige Evans, and some items from Whimsical collection, I made such a romantic and lovely insert to my A5 wedding memory planner.
