Hi there crafty friends, Anita Bownds here with you today, sharing a layout full of bright beautiful colors using the Horizon collection. The photo is of my fluffy kitty sitting in the doorway in the sunshine on his favorite mat as it’s winter here in Australia and our house gets really cold. So for my layout design I wanted to use circles randomly so I added some white cardstock on my mat and decided on using three different cut files: Layered Flower, Branch, and Circle Divided.
I started off by backing the Circle Divided cuts with patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. Then I added double-sided foam tape to the back to create dimension. Using Thickers I made my title around the middle circle and the bottom circle.
I used Paper 09 to cut out the Layered Flower with my Silhouette Cameo 3 and layered them together and then added a little yellow heart Sticker on the center.
I then matted my photo on pattered papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and added a few word Stickers to the top of my photo then placed it in the center of the middle circle popped up on some double sided foam tape to give it dimension. Before sticking the flower down I cut the Branch cut file in a small size to add underneath the flower. From Paper 07 I fussy cut out some beautiful butterflies and added them around the circles, bending them a little to add a bit of dimension. I then used more of the Stickers and added the hearts around the photo and another word sticker to the bottom of my photo.
I hope I’ve given you some fun inspiration today! Happy crafting!SUPPLIES: Patterned paper, stickers: HORIZON; white cardstock; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo 3; Cut files: Layered Flower, Branch, and Circle Divided by Paige Evans

This is sooooooooo gorgeous! LOVING those color wheels!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Anita !! You are someone that inspires me with every single LO you design. I always wish to incorporate a wee bit of that magic into my next project. I truly adore this and your kitty reminds me of our Blossum. She loves sun puddles and looking out the window too. I really love how each fan (circle) is unique in size and how they fall off the edge of the page. Just wonderful designing dearest <3 xK
