Here is one of the first pages I made using Truly Grateful! It's another take on the paper triangle chevrons I like to make with almost every collection.
On a light pink grid patterned paper background (B-side of Paper 06), splash watered down white acrylic paint and lots of colors of watercolors (I used a combination of my favorite Prima sets: Pastel Dreams, Tropicals, and Vintage Pastels) then set it aside to dry.
While the background is drying, trim the patterned paper with squares of different patterns (Paper 14) into the individual squares, then trim each square in half diagonally to create triangles – set one set aside to use on a future project. Use one of the triangles as a template to cut an additional triangle from a dark green patterned paper (Paper 22), a pink patterned paper (Paper 18), and a white with colored frames paper (B-side of (Paper 22). From the extras pile of triangles, flip them over and choose an orange, yellow, pink, and red triangle. Distress the edges of every triangle.
Adhere the triangles in place to create three chevrons as shown, using dimensional adhesive to create depth and shadows. Adhere a photo at an angle on the right side and trim any excess. Place an Epoxy Sticker at the bottom of the photo for a title. Tuck an Ephemera Die Cut sentiment under the title. Layer leaves from the Floral Die Cuts under the bottom right corner and the top left corner of the photo and add a “happy place” banner Ephemera Die Cut at the top.
To finish, journal on handwritten lines on the left edge in an empty section. Place Epoxy and paper star Stickers tone-on-tone over the chevrons to finish. I hope this layout inspires you to grab my Truly Grateful collection and create chevrons!

Always beautiful in every collection Paige! This collection is eye popping ! You got me loving the Prima watercolours :) I've managed to collect 4 of the sets. I like that they're compact so I can set them nearby on my desk and they don't take up much room. xK
