Hi friends! Brianna Lepper here and I'm super excited to share this Fall mini album with you using Paige's Truly Grateful collection! For the base of my album, I used Paige's Mini Album Scalloped Edges cut file. I cut out each page from different colored cardstock from my stash. I used LOTS of cut files for this album and I'll be sure to let y'all know which ones I used!
For the cover, I used the Fall With Leaves Background cut file and cut it out from white cardstock and backed it with papers from the 2x2 Paper Pads. I wanted to add a bit of mixed media, so I used an exclusive stencil that Paige designed for the Hip Kit Club earlier this year and applied white modeling paste through it. To finish it off, I added gold thread to give it even more texture and shine.
I decided to go ahead and embellish both sides of the cardstock pages in the album. When you turn the first page, I created a small pocket using some of the hexagons from Paper 21. I created a shaker tag using the sequins from the Mixed Embellishments and tucked in a few pieces from the Journaling Spots pack into the pocket.
On the next page, I took the 12x12 Specialty Paper and trimmed a small triangle to make another pocket. I created tags using Paper 20, added my photos to each one, and finished the tags with ribbon. I added another piece from the Journaling Spots and tucked that into the pocket as well. I wanted to embellish the front of that pocket, so I cut out Paige's Pumpkin cut file and backed it using Paper 01. I layered up some of the Ephemera Die Cuts and also added in fussy cut leaves from Paper 10.
On the backside of that page, I kept it simple and used the Thickers to spell out my sons' names and added the ampersand from the Ephemera Die Cuts and sprinkled a few Puffy Stickers around the page.
On that next facing page, I took Paper 10 and fussy cut out all of the leaves and created a wreath around my photo. I simply added hearts from the Epoxy Stickers and finished it off with a few Puffy Phrase Stickers.
On the backside of that page, I cut Paige's Thankful Blessed Grateful cut file on another piece of white cardstock and added white gesso to it. You know me and mixed media.... and this piece just needed sprays in rainbow order on it! So that's what it got! Once it was finished drying, I backed it with vellum and added Paige’s Rolled Flower cut files that I cut out from Paper 14.
For the next page, I created an interactive page where Paper 16 folds out to reveal additional photos. To pull the paper out, I added a Wooden Button and embellished with Cardstock Stickers, Puffy Phrase Stickers, and Ephemera Die Cuts.
When you flip the first page to the right, there's another photo hiding behind it.
On the back of that last page, I stitched on a piece of Paper 21 and cut four photos in 2x2 size. I created little flaps using the 2x2 Paper Pads and taped them down using washi tape from my stash. I stuck down acorns from the Puffy Stickers to help lift each 2x2 card. I love the interactive element it gives the album!
For the last page, I took the same 2x2 Paper Pads and punched out hearts on each paper. I punched out a smaller heart from vellum, layered them up, and stitched through each one using gold thread. To add one more mixed media element, I took Paige's Heart Stencil and applied more modeling paste through it. I love the pop of white on that blue cardstock! I finished off the page with leaves from the Floral Die Cuts and got my title from the Epoxy Stickers.
Thank y'all so much for stopping by!! I hope I've inspired you in some way today! These photos are from 2010 and it's so much fun to finally get to document them using the beautiful Truly Grateful collection and Paige's cut files! See y'all next time!
