Grateful Layout by Maija Männistö

Tuesday, October 8, 2019

Hi everyone, Maija Männistö here to share a fall layout made with Truly Grateful! The collection is filled with rich colors that are perfect for fall but I wanted to go with the pastel tones for this layout with the Leaf Wreath cut file.
I wanted to bring color into the wreath itself so after cutting it from white cardstock with a Silhouette Cameo 3 I painted it with Prima - Pastel Dreams watercolors. I also added splashes of the watercolors in the circle to really make the colors pop.

For the embellishing I wanted to go tone-on-tone so I went through the Floral Die CutsCardstock StickersPuffy Stickers, and Epoxy Stickers, and picked out pieces that matched the colors in the wreath. I used my mini heart punch to get matching tiny hearts on there as well as fussy cut flowers from the floral paper in the 6x8 Paper Pad.

To add that little extra somethin' I stitched flowers into each embellishment cluster by using Paige’s Layered Flower cut file and used the smallest one as a guide for my stitching. I love how this turned out! For the final touch I added the title from the Epoxy Stickerss that perfectly matched my photo.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
