Make Your Own Magic Layout

Sunday, October 6, 2019

Here is one of the layouts I taught how to make yesterday at the Rocky Mountain Crop by NOCO Crop Stop featuring supplies from my Truly Grateful collection!
Trim a 2" square and a 2.5" square from the plaid B-side of Paper 02,  the leafy A-side and lime green B-side of Paper 03, the light purple flowers/stars A-side and the dark purple dotted B-side of Paper 04, the chevron A-side of Paper 06, the green cuckoo clock A-side and salmon pink polka dot B-side of Paper 11, the dark blue stars B-side of Paper 13, the light pink geometric A-side and blue floral B-side of Paper 18, the colorful triangle A-side and magenta B-side of Paper 24. There should be (14) 2" squares and (14) 2.5" squares when finished.

Distress the edges of all of the squares using scissors or a distressing tool. Layer the squares of same patterns together using dimensional adhesive. Print and trim two 2.5" square photos and trim them leaving a white border.

Use the dark blue B-side of Paper 05 for the background and place the paper squares and photos into a 4x4 grid, adding a "make your own magic" Epoxy Sticker title in one of the spaces. Embellish using the tone-on-tone technique with bits and pieces from the Ephemera Die CutsCardstock Stickers, and Puffy Stickers as shown. Add three wood veneer pieces from the Mixed Embellishments to the page and write journaling on a lighter square with a dark blue pen (or write with a white pen on a darker square as an alternative).

And that's it! Easy peasy! A grid design is a great way to feature lots of your favorite supplies from a collection and I hope this page inspires you to pick up Truly Grateful!

SUPPLIES: Patterned paper, die cuts, stickers, wood veneer, embellishments: TRULY GRATEFUL
