Hi friends! It’s Mik here from Papermiks here again with a new planner dashboard.
Did you know I’m Brazilian? Yes! In Brazil we have a lot of sun and I must confess that I love wintertime. And just because winter has arrived in some parts of the northern hemisphere, I decided to use the amazing Horizon collection and Paige's super cute Cross Stitch Reindeer cut file to make a new winter planner dashboard and I’ll let you know how you can make a similar dashboard for your A5 planner.
I started by die cutting the Cross Stitch Reindeer cut file from white cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo 3. To make my dashboard background, I cut white cardstock to 8 1/4 x 6 1/8" and painted it with watercolors. Then I took a piece of Paper 08 and Paper 21 and distressed them a little by scrunching the edges with my fingers to add texture. I love to use words in my dashboards so I cut the Winter Snowflakes cut file and glued vellum on the back of it. I attached it down using 3D foam squares. I embroidered the reindeer and glued it in the center of my page. To complete my dashboard, I some white enamel dots and snowflake sequins to add sparkle and shine. I love it!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I hope you have enjoyed my new winter planner dashboard!
