It's the most wonderful time of the year. And I love adding scrappy supplies to my gift packages. Like... cut files anyone? Jamie Pate here, and today's little project is a look at a couple ways to add a cut file to your gifts. It's super unique. It's not store bought. And it's thought out and handcrafted by you.
This is a super easy and sweet way to add just an extra something to a package. I wrapped this gift with paper from Crate Paper Snowflake Collection. Then I thought a pop of red would be a pretty way to add to this package.
Using the Star Ornament cut file I cut it out with red cardstock. Baker's twine was tied to the top of the ornament. I added another tag to create more layers. I used a pop dot right under where the silver glitter star resides. And that's how it is attached to the package. And then of course a silver glitter star tops it all. Cute, right?
OK. HAD to use that Slug Bug Christmas Tree cut file on a wrapped package too. My girls just love this cut file. It certainly got their attention all adorned on a Christmas present.
And I love using a variation on a theme. So. I changed up the wrap on the package. I cut both a red and a white cardstock cut to layer the red on the white for more interest. I also tied a tag on the Slug Bug with baker's twine. And then that silver glitter star topped the Christmas tree and ta dah! Cute and festive wrapped packages for Christmas.
So grab those cute, festive cut files by Paige. Wrap up some pretty gifts. And add details that make the receiver feel super loved and thought of this gift giving season.
