Little Craft Place Recap

Sunday, December 8, 2019

A few weeks ago I flew to Houston, Texas to teach three workshops at Little Craft Place!

The Houston airport is really cool.

I dropped my bags off at the hotel, got some dinner, and then headed over to Little Craft Place for my first class.

It's like a dream!
I took tons of photos, I couldn't help myself.
The shop is filled with all kinds of paper crafts and journaling supplies.

Notebooks and planners galore.
 Pink couch!

Washi tape for daaaaays.
 Scrapbook paper racks.

How cute is this little workshop in the back with pinstriped awnings and pink doors.
Eunice the store owner is the absolutely sweetest.

I spy Truly Grateful.

Sticker heaven.
We got right down to work with a double layout class complete with watercolors.

Loved meeting each and every one of these lovely ladies.
Me & Paula - love this gal.

We finished our layouts, took some pictures, and called it a night!
The majority of the next day I taught a coptic bookbinding class. My favorite part is lining up all the colorful finished books in a row.
Can't decide on an angle so you get lots :)

 Everyone and her completed book.

 Writing some messages to attendees.

Paula's book turned out divine.

We got some yummy Tex Mex for dinner.
 No filter sunset. WOW!

The last class was a card trio class. A dad saw the event on Facebook and brought his four year old son - he was a hoot the entire time and made everyone chuckle. I think he created 9 or 10 cards with the supplies.

I still have some extra card and layout kits available if you are interested - $90 for both kits including shipping or $50 separate.

Such a fun time!
When I got to the airport at 6am the next morning for my flight home I realized I had left my laptop on my bed at the hotel - whoopsies! No wonder my bag was so light... Eunice, being the kind person she is, went back to my hotel the next day, picked it up, and shipped it back home to me. Forever grateful!
If you're ever in the Houston area, or even if you're not and you want to check it out, it's absolutely & definitely worth the drive to visit Little Craft Place!
I hope to be back in June of 2020 - keep your calendar open :)
